Enriching the lives of Chatham, Bryan and Effingham Co.
residents with disabilities through equine assisted activities.
Faith Equestrian Therapeutic center provides therapeutic horseback riding lessons to children and adults with physical, mental, and emotional barriers. We offer equine assisted activities to these individuals without regard to race, color, creed or financial need. Our students benefit not only from the weekly lessons that Faith Equestrian provides, but also from the relationship they develop with the horse, the certified instructional staff and the trained volunteers.
On a Horse
A person who cannot walk.........has the legs to run
Someone who is isolated from others.........has a friend to trust
Someone whose balance is impaired........has a way to regain it
Someone - anyone whose disability presents special obstacles
Has the opportunity to over come them........

Since we opened our doors in May 2006, God has blessed us with some wonderful students and a dedicated group of volunteers. There are many more children and adults with disabilities in our community that could benefit from our services. Our goal for 2008 is to provide our free program to as many children as we can reach.
Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center is a non-profit member center of the North American Riding for the Handicap Association (NARHA). Our program operates solely on donations and grants. All of our students receive tuition-free services.
But, WE NEED YOUR HELP! When you invest in Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center you make a difference in the well-being and development of a person with disabilities. Your donations are also tax-deductible.
