FETC Board of Directors

FETC is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that meets throughout the year. Members represent a wide variety of career backgrounds and many of the board members are active as FETC volunteers.

The FETC boards ensure the financial security and growth of the center. The boards also manage resources, promote and enhance FETCs public image and monitor the programs.

Strategic Goals

The assets and strengths that FETC have developed and nurtured over the years – its donors, its collaborative partners, its constituents, its volunteers, and its commitment to the special needs community will continue to be a priority. The goals listed below are intended to guide the boards as they carry out their duties:

  1. Grow and sustain board membership including growth and development of the Advisory Board.
  2. Ensure program viability through vigorous fundraising for special events, private donations, a year-round sponsorship fund, and building an endowment fund.
  3. Use personal resources and connections in the community to increase visibility and awareness of FETC.
  4. Pursue sufficient capital resources for a shaded arena to allow program expansion and address health considerations of our special needs riders.
  5. Oversee the implementation and expansion of the Horses for Heroes program and other specialty programs.
  6. Maintain a strong volunteer base.
