Faith Equestrian Training Programs with
Pure Joy Life Coaching

Certified Life Coach and Life Balance Strategist Amy Capello with Pure Joy Life Coaching and Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center have partnered together with our herd of experienced horses to bring you a one-of-a-kind corporate-level training program. The four courses listed below have been uniquely created and designed by Pure Joy Life Coaching just for our Therapeutic Center - you won't find these programs anywhere else.

 
 
 

What is our Why?

Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All income we receive goes to the care of our horses, offering programs for children and adults with special needs and disabilities, and a small portion to the staff. Pure Joy Life Coaching is run by a cancer survivor who has made it her mission to help others lead a balanced life, full of intention and purpose. A portion of all income to Pure Joy is donated to Little Pink Houses of Hope, a national nonprofit dedicated to providing free retreats for breast cancer patients and their families.

Pure Joy Life Coaching

Amy is a Life Balance Strategist, helping clients strategize ways to bring balance into their lives. She was an Assistant Principal at the largest school in the state, managing a team of over 30 people, including a leadership team and has spent countless hours volunteering with multiple nonprofits. Including being on the Board of Directors for a local environmental organization. After nearly a decade of team management and growing leaders into their own leadership positions while coaching others to find balance in their lives, Amy wanted to bring her talents to more than her current team. In 2019, she started Pure Joy Life Coaching, a company that gives her the freedom and ability to make big changes in big ways for all of her clients.

Program Director, Elizabeth Todd- Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor, Equine Specialist in Mental Health & Learning, and EAGALA Certified as an Equine Specialist.
Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center began in 2006 and is a Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH, Intl) Premier Accredited Center. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals with special needs and disabilities through the power of the horse. Faith Equestrian Therapeutic Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit therapeutic riding and educational activity center offering programs for children and adults with special needs and disabilities.

Program Course Offerings

Clarity in Communication Course

Designed to focus on the various aspects of effective and clear communication, including the importance of observation, the 4 types of communication, identifying non-verbal communication cues, and the dynamics of team communication. You will walk through several activities that encourage you to think more deeply about how you communicate, how you interpret other's communication styles, and how to communicate your messages more clearly. Program Agenda Example (courses are held on Fridays from 10am-1pm)

  • 10:00am - Introduction to Faith Equestrian & Amy Capello
  • 10:30am - Time to Get Acquainted with the Horses
  • 11:00am - First Training Activity & Lesson
  • 12:00pm - Second Training Activity & Lesson
  • 12:30pm - Wrap Up & Summarize Lessons
  • 1:00pm - Optional Add-On - Lunch on the Farm and/or Treats for the Horses

 
 

Program Investments and Inclusions

  • All programs listed above require a $5,000 investment for group sizes up to 10 people. Each additional person is $200, up to a maximum group size of 20 people. If you require a training session to accommodate more than 20 people, we can split up the training days and discuss pricing per training. All programs require a 50% non refundable deposit and to secure your date and the remaining amount must be paid in full one week before your program date.
  • Your training fee includes 3 hours of on-site training with Faith Equestrian staff and Certified Life Coach Amy Capello from Pure Joy Life Coaching. During the program, you can expect to experience hands-on activities, various interactive lessons with the horses and staff, and all materials needed for the training.
  • Every participant will receive a take home gift bag from Pure Joy Life Coaching and Faith Equestrian, including tips and resources specific to your chosen topic to allow participants to further their learning and growth after the training.
  • We will provide you with a template email to send to staff ahead of the training, including what to expect on the day of the course (what to wear, what to bring, what to expect if you're nervous around horses, etc).


Optional Add-On

We offer an optional add-on lunch after your training for $15/pp. You can choose from these 2 locations (option for box lunch or catering style option)
  • Sated Spoon - Turkey or Ham Sandwich/ 1 Side/ Drink
  • Chick fil A - Grilled or Fried Sandwich Box Lunch/ Chips/ Cookie/ Drink
We will provide plates, cups, napkins, and eating utensils. Arrangements must be made in advance and all dietary restrictions must be communicated at least two weeks before your training date to ensure we can accommodate you.

What You Need to Know before coming on the farm

  • All participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes
  • We suggest you dress in layers as the weather changes without notice
  • Please know you will be outdoors the entire time
  • In case of rain, we will move to the covered outdoor arena
  • NO Horse experience is required
